Eight children and four adults have been injured in a serious accident involving a bus from Serbia in Bulgaria. The bus had gone off the road in the direction of Sofia and rolled over into a ditch.
The bus was carrying 38 children and ten adults from Serbia on its way from the Bulgarian Black Sea coast to Belgrade. The children had previously attended a folklore festival in the seaside town of Slanchev Bryag (Sunny Beach).

The accident, which is believed to have been caused by the driver, took place near the southern Bulgarian town of Stara Zagora on Sunday evening. The bus ran off the road and ended up in a ditch. Eight children and four adults were injured, some seriously. They were taken to nearby clinics.
All other prisoners were examined and medically treated if necessary. The cause of the accident was believed to have been an error on the part of the driver, whose attention was diverted in the bus, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdschiev told bTV TV channel.
