A water rescuer was injured in an emergency landing of a paraglider in Annenheim am Ossiachersee. The man had to go to the hospital.
A 25-year-old Tyrolean left on Saturday afternoon with his glider from Gerlitzen and would land again at the flying school in Annenheim. But the athlete lost a lot of altitude during the landing approach, forcing him to initiate an emergency landing.

When landing at the campsite in Annenheim, the Tyrolean touched a parasol and an on-duty lifeguard. The water rescuer suffered minor injuries and was able to drive to hospital in Villach under his own power. The 25-year-old Tyrolean was unharmed.
