The tycoon, who remains the sole director, surrounds himself with allies to evaluate the direction of the company and make important changes in the social network
Billionaire businessman Elon Musk has suspended the entire Twitter board, which consists of nine members, so that the body now has only one member: himself.
The company disclosed these changes in a statement sent to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). According to the document, this move was included in the readmission agreement signed last April.
Until now, the press had only reported, citing expert sources, that Musk had ousted CEO Parag Agrawal, as well as two other non-board members: CFO Ned Segal and CEO Legal, Vijaya Gadde.
In addition to Agrawal, the board included Bret Taylor, Omid Kordestani, David Rosenblatt, Martha Lane Fox, Patrick Pichette, Egon Durban, Fei-Fie Li and Mimi Alemayehou.
