Aircraft supplier FACC is looking for staff. The aircraft supplier wants to score with the greatest possible flexibility. A four-day working week is envisaged for production, but the implementation is not that simple.
The growth in the aviation industry also has a positive effect on FACC: after three quarters the turnover of the aircraft supplier has increased to 419.6 million euros, the profit before interest and taxes to 4.2 million euros. The company, which is led by Robert Machtlinger, currently has orders for approximately 13,000 aircraft worth approximately 5.5 billion euros.
100 more new employees by the end of the year
All this makes it necessary to build up more staff. This year alone, 292 employees have been brought on board, with a further 100 to follow by the end of the year.
To be attractive to new employees, the Innviertler offer flexibility where possible. Employees can even work entirely from home. This is more difficult in production, for which the four-day weekly model is currently being tested. Whether it will be introduced remains to be seen. The situation is complex, they say.
