Easing is in sight on the energy market, says board member Alfons Haber of E-Control in krone.tv’s conversation with Jürgen Winterleitner. A clear trend is visible for the coming months. Namely, that the favorable wholesale prices are also passed on to end customers.
“Price comparisons really always pay off,” advises the boss of E-Control. But constant price monitoring is also an advantage for customers.
EVN recently canceled nearly 300,000 electricity and gas customers. How should one behave here? “If you are laid off, you have to quickly look at how to find a new supplier. But there are also cancellations where there is already a new offer.” Letters from energy suppliers should never be ignored. But notice periods usually last eight weeks, Haber explains. “There are already escalation levels here.”
