Several submissions to the WKStA: The corruption investigators confirm that they are exploring possible investigative steps…
Since the Benkos Signa unrest became known, the question has arisen whether this could also interest the judiciary. As the “Krone” and “Zackzack” have learned, that is indeed the case.
The WKStA confirmed several entries. An anonymous statement of facts contains specific allegations:
- Deception of banks by overvaluing real estate, resulting in ‘valuation gains’. This could mean commercial fraud or fraudulent Krida.
- The second accusation is that the publication of the balance sheets was delayed to deceive creditors. Signa’s inevitable bankruptcy was therefore postponed.
The WKStA attaches great importance to only investigating initial suspicions. That does not mean that there will be investigations.
