Renovation in sight – battery storage developer bankrupt

Date:

What to do with the electricity produced by photovoltaic systems, etc.? The call for storage solutions is loud, but there is still no guarantee for manufacturers that these will be economically successful. XelectriX Power GmbH from Mauthausen (Upper Austria) has now filed for bankruptcy.

XelectriX Power GmbH promotes energy storage solutions made in Austria on its website. The company was founded in 2016 and is located in Mauthausen (Upper Austria) and since 2020 has been selling storage units specifically suitable for the construction, commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors. On construction sites, battery storage must provide diesel generators with power for the machines.

Together we will promote the energy transition, protect the environment and at the same time ease the burden on your wallet, the company promises its customers, which despite the bankruptcy filing is not thinking of giving up.

Discussions between investors are ongoing
A continuation and renovation are planned. The Austrian association Creditreform announces that discussions are being held with potential investors. “We assume that bankruptcy will be declared within a few days,” adds Alexander Meinschad of KSV 1870.

There was no growth
The reasons for the economic stagnation are said to be that the expected growth did not materialize. This in turn is the result of the changed interest rate policy in Europe and the deteriorating general economic situation, it is said.
