Does the state go empty -treated? – 21 million debts: Graser in private bankruptcy

Date:

Private bankruptcy has now been officially opened on the former Finance Minister Karl-Heinz Grasser convicted in the BUBOG process by 21 million euros in debts. The most important believers are the Republic of Austria and the tax office.

The State demands around 12.7 million euros from Grasser because of private participation in the legal proceedings, the tax office places the tax claims at 7.9 million euros. This was announced on Tuesday after the court’s regulation process was opened on Tuesday at the court of Kitzbühel after the opening of the debt regulation process. Due to the complexity, an insolvency manager will probably be appointed.

Stay in the Republic
However, Graser does not relieve his debts: because for obligations “of a deliberately dedicated unauthorized law”, the Act provides for Austria in Austria in a special regulation. These debts remain upright, even after the income was promised to the self -provision level for three or five years in the course of a dropout procedure.

Grasser can agree on a payment schedule with the financial power …
