The equality between the sexes in the task evaluated employees in the IT and internet industry and in the advisory area in the highest, in the catering trade and the print/packaging and textile departments.
The best gender equality in the world of work is confirmed to the companies in Upper Austria, the worst of those in Burgenland, showed an evaluation of the Kununu comparison platform for employer, which is based on around 400,000 reviews.
There is a West East gradient
Looking at the federal states, a gradient is recognizable for the east: the higher Austrian employers reached 4.01 points, closely followed by those in Styria (4.0), in Tyrol and Salzburg (3.98 each). Vorarlberg (3.96), Carinthia (3.95) and Vienna (3.94) are close together in the middle of the field. The final lights are Lower Austria (3.89) and Burgenland (3.87). Dealing with older colleagues was also the best rated in the upper Austria (4.18 points), and Vienna took the last place here (4.1).
IT -Industry is the best way
If you look at the industry, it seems best in IT (4.33 out of 5 points) to be the same. The areas of the internet (4.30), advice/consulting (4.22), tax advice/audit and marketing/advertisements/PR (every 4.19) are behind the places. Gastronomy (3.72), Pressure/packaging (3.69) and textile (3.60) are the worst rated. Trade employee (3.82) and industry (3.76) landed in the last third part – in 43 evaluated areas – in the last third part. Dealing with older employees was also best rated in the IT area and the worst in the textile industry.
The Kununu employer comparison platform is the largest forum for “workplace insights” in German -speaking countries. The figures come from employees and job seekers who evaluate companies anonymously. The approximately 400,000 feedback included in the evaluation that were introduced on the platform in April.
