The fresh cell healed for the thermal bath of Stegersbach picks up speed. After the country, together with the Munich operator GMF, directs the resort since the fall of the previous year, the extensive modernization now begins. At the start of the partnership, it was announced to invest a total of up to 20 million euros in Therme, Hotel Alegria and the largest golf course in Austria.
Start of the “active phase”
The start of the outdoor space of the thermal baths begins. “The active phase is now starting to bring our many ideas and new offers for our guests step by step into practice,” says General Manager and authorized signer Marcel Pomper.

It is about utilizing the full potential for more comfort, quality and thermal experience, especially for day guests from the neighborhood,” says Pomper.

Special attention in the future lies on the subject of sustainability: a photovoltaic system of 1000 kWp must also be installed. “This should help to make the operation more environmentally friendly and more economically more sustainable,” says Werner Cerutti, more manager in the Landholding.
Confession to the location
State councilor Leonhard Schneemann also sees a clear commitment to the location and a strong signal for the future of Burgenland’s tourism. “Above all, the Allegria actively forms the future of an industry that provides thousands of jobs and the regional economy,” says Schneeman. An extensive general concept must be presented in 2026, which ensures and further develops the location in the long term.
