The University of Murcia presented this Friday the prizes for the VI Santander-Ingenio ‘Bernardo Cascales’ competition and those for the XIV Thader Shopping Center-University of Murcia Literary Contest, organized by the Department of International Relations of the University of Murcia and intended to financially support students who are going to do a university stay abroad. The prizes of the XIV Short Story Literary Contest went to ‘La puro reality’ by Joaquín Gómez Manresa (first prize, 3,000 euros); ‘El nido’ by Marina Méndez González (second prize, 2,500 euros) and ‘La chica de Mañana’ by Sonia García (third prize, 2,000 euros). Alejandro Hernández Leante, Juan Tomás Couce Freijomil, María Pérez Garijo, David Fernández Expósito, María del Carmen Alcantud Suárez, Lucía del Valle Monedero and Irene Carrión López won the prizes at the VI Santander-Ingenio.
