Molina’s city council announced the ten finalists this Friday
The Molina City Council on Friday announced the ten finalists of the 19th Setenil Prize for Best Storybook 2022. The jury (Fernando Clemot, Carmen Pujante Segura, Charo Guarino Ortega and Antonio J. Ruiz Munuera) has chosen: ‘Quitamiedos’, by Trypho Abad (Talent); ‘We Didn’t Come For This’, by María Bastarós (Candaya); ‘Concrete Cages’, by Mayte Blasco (Niña Loba); ‘Ceniza’, by Juana Cortes Amunarriz (Edhasa); ‘Acceleration of Reality’, by Fernando García Maroto (Mclein and Parker); ‘Shipwreck in the Indigo Ocean’, by Mar Horno (Bululú); ‘Malaventura’, by Fernando Navarro (Impedimenta); ‘Ghost Theatre’, by Ismael Orcero Marín (Boria); ‘Landfill’, by Raul Quirós Molina (Dieci6); and “Nine Republican Stories,” by Elena Prado-Mas (Baile del Sol). There is 10,000 euros in the already considered ‘Oscar of the story’.
