In this edition, the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) has recognized five UMU researchers who have consistently favored the transfer of knowledge to business and other institutions, thus contributing to economic and social development. These were: Pablo Artal Soriano, José Fernández Vázquez Casillas, Manuel Campos Martínez, Ildefonso Méndez Martínez and José Joaquín Cerón Madrigal.
For its part, scientific dissemination, personally or institutionally generated by the Unit for Scientific Culture and Innovation (UCC+i), has been awarded five prizes for the first time. The UMU research staff that has received recognition in this category consists of Rafael García Molina, Eva Santos Sánchez-Guzmán, Félix Gómez Mármol, Laura Arias Ferrer and José María Martínez Selva.
“With these recognitions, we want to appreciate the initiative and decision of our research community to add the passion for transferring their knowledge to their daily work,” emphasized José Manuel López Nicolás, Vice Rector for Transfer, Communication and Scientific Dissemination.
