“Bomb” after countdown – Udo Landbauer claims to be governor

Date:

On January 29, a new state parliament will be elected in Lower Austria. Officially, no party has yet started the election campaign, but things look different behind the political scenes. With a mysterious countdown and the announcement of a revelation, the PVV went on the offensive over the weekend. What’s behind it.

Already on Saturday, the FPÖ Lower Austria announced its own countdown on its homepage at 7 p.m. “to want to drop a bomb”. The cat is now out of the bag – but it remains to be seen whether this is a political bombshell. In his own video message, which went online at 7 p.m. sharp, Landbauer announced his candidacy for the position of governor of Lower Austria.

“Our country deserves a fresh start. From personal conversations with workers and employees, with entrepreneurs and job seekers, with young people and seniors, I know the strong desire for change. This desire of the citizens has never been greater! There is no perspective, no chance and no hope. I say to you resolutely: it must not go on like this’, Landbauer introduced his speech.

He was ready to take responsibility and ready to carry the heavy backpack that the ÖVP had put on his compatriots. “I am intervening to lead our country and our compatriots out of the crisis as governor of Lower Austria. I will break with the price explosion, asylum chaos and corruption. I am absolutely convinced that things can be done differently,” explains Landbauer .

The latest forecasts
Landbauer’s announcement is particularly exciting given the latest election predictions. As reported, experts currently consider a three-party coalition consisting of SPÖ, FPÖ and NEOS as mathematically possible. Based on the case, SPÖ boss Franz Schnabl and Udo Landbauer should fool the governor again. Christoph Haselmayer of the Institute for Demoscopy and Data Analysis considers “the best result in the history of the FPÖ” possible…
