Minister of Economic Affairs and Labor Martin Kocher (ÖVP) missed a meeting with his American colleague Marty Walsh due to a corona infection.
One of the plans was for Walsh to visit the voestalpine training center in Linz with Kocher. Visits to other companies were also on the agenda.
Kocher shows no symptoms
Kocher is now represented in the appointments by State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler (ÖVP). Kocher, who has been vaccinated four times, is currently showing no symptoms. The infection was discovered during a routine test.
The US embassy announced that talks with government and industry representatives should focus in particular on deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of dual learning.
