However, for the second consecutive month, the PP remains ahead of the PSOE in direct voting, by 22.7% compared to 22.1 for the PSOE.
The February barometer of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) assigns a significant increase in the PSOE of 1.9 points, representing 32.1% of the vote, but chastises its government partner, Unidas Podemos, who this month falls from 14.2 to 12.7 percent in January.
The survey, conducted between February 1 and 11, in full discussion between coalition partners for the reform of the ‘only yes is yes’ law, nevertheless increases the advantage of the PSOE over the PP to 2.3 points, despite the fact that those of Alberto Núñez Feijóo are also rising this month and are already close to 30%, with 29.8% in vote estimate.
For the second consecutive month, the PP leads the PSOE in direct voting, excluding the CIS estimate, by 22.7 percent compared to 22.1 percent for the PSOE.
The rise of the socialists is reflected in the fall of United We Can, which loses one and a half points in a month, while Vox remains stable at 10% of the vote.
The one to lose nearly a third of its support is Ciudadanos, which moves from 2.9% in January to 2.0 percent of the February barometer after its primaries and assembly.
Among the main forces, ERC remains in sixth place, with 2.0% of the vote, followed by EH Bildu and JxCat, with 1.1%, and the PNV, with 0.8%.
