Muriel Larrea appeals to the “unity” of women in the struggle for equality

Date:

The president of the PP of Gipuzkoa has defended the development of a regulatory framework that would end the “barriers” women face to their full development.

The president of the PP of Gipuzkoa, Muriel Larrea, has appealed on Sunday “unity” of women in the fight for equality and against sexist violence.

Larrea made these statements this Sunday on the Boulevard in San Sebastián minutes before the 33rd edition of the massive Lilatón women’s race began.

The leader of the PP, accompanied by the candidate for mayor of San Sebastián, Borja Corominas, has public disputes that “try to divide women”.

“It doesn’t help to get sex offenders out of prison or to reduce their sentences. These kinds of laws divide women,” Larrea denounced.

In this regard, he advocated the development of a regulatory framework that puts an end to the “barriers” women suffer for their full development in “the 21st century”.

Larrea has called for “unity within diversity” in the demand for equality and the fight against sexist violence. “Together we are more and better,” he emphasized.
