Today, the day the Tour de France goes from Hego Euskal Herria to Ipar Euskal Herria, the mayors of Hendaye and Irun, Kotte Ezenarro and José Antonio Santano, reopened the pass closed after two years. In 2020, 9 stairways were blocked and currently 3 remain closed: Izpegi, Aldude and Larraine.
