Uncensored videos: The horror of the Hamas massacre became palpable in Vienna

Date:

The “Krone” was able to watch new, uncensored videos of the Hamas attack on October 7. Due to the gruesome scenes, these will not be released to the general public. “Krone” editor Paul Tikal describes what they show.

Two little Israeli brothers, both about nine or ten years old, stand in the kitchen of their parents’ house, wearing only their underwear. The smaller one screams for his mother in pain, his voice cracking with panic. He keeps calling for his mother. His father, according to footage from a surveillance camera, was mauled by a grenade right before his eyes – his body probably absorbed most of the splinters.

The older brother stands next to him, miraculously keeping his composure and trying to wash away the splinters and burns on the little one’s back with a water bottle. Next to him, his father’s killer, an unmasked Hamas terrorist with an assault rifle slung over his shoulder, calmly opens the refrigerator and grabs something to drink.

Szenenwechsel

Three young Hamas terrorists, none older than twenty, cheer in ecstasy into their cell phone cameras. “Father, look what I sent you on WhatsApp,” can later be heard in an intercepted telephone conversation. “I killed ten Jews with my own hands!” The father joyfully shouts a number of “Allahu Akbar!” out and gets his mother on the phone.

“Mother, I just killed ten Jews!” She can hardly believe it either. “Allahu Akbar” over and over again. And together on the phone, the family celebrates the carnage their son caused among Israelis.

Another change of scene

An Israeli soldier holds his rifle as he walks through the devastated grounds of the ‘Nova’ festival. The camera on his body shows him approaching a bar in the middle of the building. The soldier is initially calm and makes clear reports. ‘Dead policewoman!’ He continues walking. “One, two, three, four, five dead!” When he arrives at the bar and looks over the counter, there are dozens of dead festival goers piled on the floor. Young people in party outfits, in their own blood, some lying on top of each other. “Give me a sign of life!” the soldier shouts firmly. “Whoever is still alive, give me a sign!” A few seconds later his voice breaks. He calmly reports back: “There are no signs of life here.” Nothing moves in the bloody tangle of people.

Dozens of cameras filmed the horrors

The uncensored, raw compilation, which will be shown to journalists, diplomats and international military attachés in a closed, windowless conference room on Monday, lasted more than forty minutes. There are dozens of video recordings documenting the October 7 Hamas massacre in southern Israel. Filmed from surveillance cameras, with the victims’ mobile phones, but also with the attackers’ cameras mounted on their helmets and protective vests.

And suddenly the numbers have faces

“1,300 dead Israelis” becomes the father described above, who protects his boys from a grenade and dies before their eyes. The woman who cowers wailing in a kindergarten is shot and carried away lifeless on the shoulders of terrorists. The young festival goer who is loaded into a Toyota Hilux with a torn and heavily bleeding arm and taken to Gaza in shock.

In one scene, dead Israeli women and men are brought back to the Gaza Strip as “trophies” by the terrorists and thrown onto the dusty ground in front of a cheering crowd. Fathers, brothers, uncles and neighbors come out of their homes to step on the dead young people in unbridled joy. A rush like winning the World Cup.

Barely beard

“Nobody expects these images to change your view of the conflict in the Middle East,” said Israeli Ambassador to Vienna David Roet before the presentation began. “We understand the many problems surrounding Gaza and Israel. But this? This is something completely different.” The video starts. After a few minutes, the first participant leaves the room sobbing.
