The Basque Government’s Sociological Prospecting Office published the second part of the study on Thursday. In the first, released a week ago, CAV citizens were asked about their voting intention in the upcoming elections for the Basque Parliament. This second episode discusses, among other things, the assessment of the representatives in the chamber, but also the most important social concerns.
The survey, which was conducted between November 21 and 24 using more than 3,000 telephone interviews, took place before it became known that Iñigo Urkullu would not be a PNV candidate in the next elections. The Jeltzale leader in particular is rated better (5.6 out of 10), although he loses a tenth compared to the previous survey. Kortajaarna, which premieres on EH Bildu replacing Maddalen Iriarte, also receives approval (5.1 out of 10).
Next, just two tenths but less than 5, is the spokesperson for Elkarrekin Podemos-IU, Look at Gorrotxategi (4.9), which increases slightly compared to the May survey. The General Secretary of the PSE-EE and parliamentarian, Eneko Anduezaachieve a 4.5. They are at a certain distance Amaia Martinez by Vox (3.2which amounts to two tenths) and Javier de Andrés (2.9which is a seven-tenth improvement on Carlos Iturgaiz’s rating in the previous survey).
The labor market and health, the main problems of the Basque Country
However, regarding Euskadi’s main problems, society’s primary concern continues to focus on problems related to the labor market have lost importance especially since the previous measurement in May. a 47% of the population mention it as one of the three most important problems, while in May 56% mentioned it.
