Plus point for Kickl: a clear majority does not trust Nehammer and Sobotka

In a recent survey, 80 percent said they did not trust Sobotka. The majority (62 percent) also has no confidence in Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP).

For the APA/OGM confidence index, 1,000 people representative of Austrian voters were surveyed online. The central result: people don’t exactly trust Sobotka or Nehammer. Nehammer’s value is a low for a sitting chancellor. Respondents also have less confidence in Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen than in September.

Stable values ​​for Kogler and Meinl-Reisinger
SPÖ boss Andreas Babler, Finance Minister Magnus Brunner, State Secretary for Digitalization Florian Tursky (both ÖVP), MP Norbert Hofer (FPÖ), Constitutional Minister Karoline Edtstadler, club president August Wöginger and Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) also fell. on the rankings. The values ​​in December are positive for Health Minister Johannes Rauch (Greens), Economy Minister Martin Kocher (ÖVP), the second President of the National Council Doris Bures (SPÖ) and Justice Minister Alma Zadić (Greens). FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl also registered an increase of four confidence points. Compared to November last year, Kickl and Rauch won the most. According to OGM (Market Research Institute in Vienna, note) boss Wolfgang Bachmayer, the FPÖ leader is mainly benefiting from the increase in the number of votes for his party.
