Congress has created this other commission, promoted by the PSOE and which aims to investigate the “facts and responsibilities” surrounding the processes of contracting medical supplies during the pandemic, in order to conclude with “lessons”. This was emphasized by the chairman of the committee after the office of this body was established.
Soler, who was chosen by 180 votes in favor (via the weighted voting system) compared to the 137 blank votes cast by the PP, he hoped that the agreed screenings would be ‘appropriate’ and that the work would be done ‘with the utmost respect’.

The far-right party Vox will take a position in a parliamentary committee for the first time in this parliamentary term. The Vox deputy Carlos Flores Juberias, also a member of the committee, did not clarify whether the PP offered them a position on the board in exchange for some support and replied that “the abnormal thing” is that they were not there since they are the third largest political force in Congress. The far-right party was the only group to vote against the creation of this committee; the PP abstained.
Once the committee is established, the board will meet again in the coming days to determine the date for presenting the proposals. requests for performances and the work plan to follow.
