Farmers furious: – “EU is a madhouse of the planned economy”

Date:

The Deputy Governor of Lower Austria and FPÖ leader Udo Landbauer made it clear in an interview on krone.tv: “Leonore Gewessler breaks the law several times because she postpones and does not carry out road construction projects that are included in the Federal Road Act and which she should execute.

This means that the Lower Austrians are being punished. She will no longer be a member of the next federal government, but we have lost a lot of time.” The next Transport Minister in a federal government with the participation of the FPÖ would implement these projects, such as the Marchfeld highway S8 or the Lobau tunnel, as soon as possible, Landbauer said.

When it comes to the thinning out of the ÖBB service, Landbauer, the Lower Austrian State Council for Transport, is very dissatisfied: “That is extremely unpleasant. But ÖBB is currently unable to provide the mileage in accordance with the ordered contract for transport services. So the tax money from our side will not flow. All I’m saying is that if we had to pay for 100 trains, but there are only 50, then we’ll only pay for 50.”

The EU plans cold expropriation
The EU also does not get along well with the head of the FPÖ-NÖ. The background is possible future EU controls on domestic used cars, which it could classify as environmentally harmful old cars and withdraw from the market: “That would not just be a control, but proof that the EU is developing into a socialist, planned economy madhouse. The point is that cold expropriation is taking place here. The European Commission’s proposal states that vehicles may no longer be repaired if the braking and steering elements are extremely worn. So please, these are wearing parts, they have been repaired in the past. And that should mean that these used cars can be declared old cars more quickly and repairs can be prohibited. And we cannot allow that.”

If the FPÖ now had more say in the EU, Landbauer would “get rid of these absurdities.” According to the FPÖ boss, this also includes the watt limit for vacuum cleaners, the banana curve, cucumber curve and much more. That sounds funny, but according to Landbauer it is scary.
