In the Basque Chamber, Iñigo Urkullu explained the aims and content of the bill and called on the rest of the political groups to “vote”, because the future deserves “a reminder of coexistence”. The Lehendakari wanted to make explicit mention of the acknowledgment of the victims.

The Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, defended the bill today for Historical and democratic memory of Euskadia standard which, he has emphasized, aims to “restore the dignity of those who have not been restored, right violations and right wrongs”.
Urkullu appeared in the plenary session of the Basque Parliament to explain the aims and content of the draft, in the light of the amendments to the whole tabled by Vox and PP+Cs.
