Donald Trump insulted his opponent Kamala Harris in a sexist way. The Republican presidential candidate provokes during the election campaign by spreading vulgar theories: Harris’ political career is based on sexual favors.
The post shows an older photo of Kamala Harris next to former US Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who ran against Trump in the 2016 election. The comment reads: “Funny how blowjobs affected both of their careers differently…”
The crude remark is a reference to a sex scandal involving Clinton’s husband Bill during his presidency (1993-2001). Trump supporters, in turn, are spreading completely unsubstantiated claims about Harris that her romantic relationship with an influential California politician in the 1990s helped her career.
New low reached in debate
Trump did not write the message himself. The fact that he spread it on his official Truth Social account is still remarkable. The Republican regularly disparages his Democratic opponent in the presidential race, calling her “crazy” and “dumb,” among other things.
Trump has also attacked Harris for her skin color and race, claiming, among other things, that the 59-year-old “suddenly went black a few years ago.” Verbal attacks of a sexual nature have a new quality.
Trump’s tactics are even scaring Republicans
Several Republicans have recently publicly advised Trump to make fewer personal attacks on Harris and instead make more substantive points. Trump was asked about these recollections at a recent press conference, but he rejected such advice. “I think I have a right to attack her personally,” the 78-year-old said, referring to Harris and the campaign, adding, “I have to do it my way.”
During the 2016 election campaign, Trump caused a stir with a vulgar statement that he could attack women anywhere, even between the legs. Americans still elected him president.
