The main Basque political forces have given another step towards the great health pact promoted by the Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, in reaching an agreement on Osakidetza.
In concrete terms, PNV, EH Bildu and PSE-EE have agreed on a parliamentary initiative urging the Basque Government’s Ministry of Health to ““complete the consolidation processes” already “Revised” the Osakidetza model for public employment offers.as reported by the sovereigntist coalition in a statement.
The text, which will be voted on during the plenary session that the Basque Parliament will hold on Thursday, This was agreed as a result of a non-bill proposal from EH Bildu.
The three signatory groups also urge the Ministry of Health to discuss formulas at the sectoral table that would give “greater stability” to Osakidetza staff.
Another point of the initiative is that the health care needs and the necessary coverage that exist in each of the Integrated Health Organizations (OSI) of Osakidetza are assessed. In this sense, it is requested that the staff of each OSI be organized according to the reality of each center, in collaboration with the representative bodies of the workers.
