US presidential candidate Kamala Harris revealed in an interview that she owns a semi-automatic pistol from the Austrian manufacturer Glock. “I have a Glock and have had one for a while.”
When asked if she had ever fired the gun, she replied, “Of course, at a shooting range.”
Although Harris is 59 years old, she has rarely mentioned her gun ownership, which is consistent with her party’s line. Democrats support stricter gun controls, while Republicans defend the right to private gun ownership.
Vice Tim Walz also has a gun
Donald Trump had repeatedly accused Harris of wanting to confiscate guns – most recently during a TV debate, which she firmly rejected. She emphasized that both she and her deputy, Tim Walz, were gun owners.
The manufacturer Glock is known in the US for its widely used pistols, which are often used by police and have achieved cult status in Hollywood films.
