After serving as chairman of the Bizkai Buru Batzar (BBB) since 2013, the Jeltzale leader believes this is “the ideal moment to close a stage.” After his term of office, he will ‘normally return to his ‘job’ in the audiovisual sector.
“On November 23 I’m wrapping up my time at the helm of the BBB and my public political activities.” This is what the current president of the Bizkai Buru Batzar (BBB) of the PNV announced, Itxaso Atutxahis withdrawal from the position in which he has remained almost 12 years. “I will continue in politics, but from a different position,” he clarified. The announcement comes in the middle of the Jeltzale CEO’s internal renewal process.
In an interview with Onda Vasca, Atutxa explained that this is “an ideal moment for end a phase and that someone takes the lead with desire and enthusiasm.” Asked who could take over, Biscay’s leader assured that it was up to the members to decide.
The current president of the PNV in Bizkaia has assured that after his term of office will return to his “trade” “normally”in the audiovisual sector. “I miss him,” he admitted.
