A week before the municipality’s elections, the editorial offices “Krone” looked at the styric parties up close. Who climbs, who descends? The FPö does not fly as high as in the previous year, the ÖVP could stabilize – and the opposition must still find its role.
FPö: no thread for Vienna
For about a month it looked good with a blue “folk chancellor”. But FPö -Baas Herbert Kickl failed on the last few meters and returned the government to the federal president. For Styria, a blue-black coalition at the federal level would have had many benefits: especially with hot iron, such as expansion of the A9 or building a nation stadium in or in Graz, the freedom gouvereur Mario Kunaseek would have had a direct line for the Chancellery. The head of the state, however, lacks a contact person in Vienna, and he must be satisfied with sending a catalog with claims via Semmering.
