Unusual thoughts experiment by FPö Boss Herbert Kickl: On Thursday, in an interview with Swiss Weltwoche journalist Roger Köppel, he was impressed by the idea that Russia is involved in NATO: “I am convinced that there can only be a European security architecture with Russia’s integration.”
“I was very surprised and also fascinated by this interview by Tucker Carlson with Vladimir Putin,” says Kickl about a conversation by Trump-Close US journalist Carlson with the Russian ruler. Kickl was mainly fascinated by a passage in which Putin “speaks that there were Russian considerations to become a member of NATO. And apparently the US President (then Bill Clinton, Noot) thought it was interesting in a first interview, but his advisers did not think of it – for whatever reason.” Kickl continues: “But that would be a vision for example where you say: okay, that could not really fall back in old and old times, but go a step forward!”
For Russia, Kickl generally shows a lot of sympathy on YouTube on YouTube on YouTube: “We can watch a little history and I can say: Austria has had no bad experiences in the past. According to our opinion, Russia, especially, especially when it comes to economic cooperation, always a reliable partner-think.”
“A deadly sin for a neutral condition”
According to the FPö boss, these were ‘an important basis for development, growth and prosperity in Austria. From these experience values, one can certainly derive that there is such a thing as a basis of trust. And I am shocked that we, as a neutral country, also this good relationship, which exists with Austria, also many personal relationships-that you can do the almost a stupid emotionality that I think.
“This is hypocrisy”
Kickl then gives a deep insight into his view of things: “You can almost say: Putin is driven in this situation. And his answer is that he does what all the other big powers do: if you cannot force your national security interests with political resources, then you will use soldiers. This is harm and everyone who does somewhere else in the world, you don’t know about it.
Kickl also has a certain sympathy for US President Donald Trump. The FPö -Baas assesses his public confrontation with the Ukrainian president Wolodyymyr Senskyj in the White House four weeks ago: “For me this is a refreshingly honest form of world politics. At least you can see what’s going on.
