Problems about the rosary – Parliament: no order call for “umvolkung” speakers

Date:

The choice of words of the FPö mandate Peter Wurm caused great horror during the National Council meeting on Thursday. Those “horror scenarios”, of which the former FPö chef Jörg Haider had already warned, had taken place 40 years later, which had a “reverse” in Austria. Because this is a right-wing extremist combat period that was also used under the Nazi regime, many other factions were indignant and an order for orders from the national council chairman Walter Rosenkranz. But this could not come true.

The party colleague Wurms let the waves go even higher. The chairman of the National Council argued that the word could also be used in a different context. This was not acceptable to the other political groups, the result was a meeting of the session. Finally, Rosary announced that the return of worms was in the plenum, after which it could then be noticed again. When it was asked later, Wurm took the term back.

“Another taboo break at the office”
Nevertheless, the ÖVP parliament member Georg Strasser demanded that the incident had to be discussed at the next president. “It is incredible that a chosen mandatar uses such conditions from the darkest history of our country in the High House. It is just as unthinkable that the national council chairman Walter Rosary refuses to call an order,” emphasized the green right-wing extremism spokesperson Lukas Hammer. “Today a further break in the taboo in the office is characterized by a chairman of the National Council,” complained the deputy club chief Sigrid Maurer.

Spö mp Kai Jan Kraininer emphasized that the task of the rosary was to “pay attention to the dignity of the house, not to be a patron saint for free MPs”. Neos Club -chairman Nikolaus Scherak once looked in the online village and found the use of “National Socialist” as the only entry under the point, as he announces it in his contact message.

Electronic system
There was excitement again when there was suddenly a technical problem. So in short, microphones and clock did not work in the plenary hall. The homepage of parliament was offline for longer. The parliamentary directorate said it was not an attack on the electronic systems, but an internal problem that had already been identified. The systems would now gradually increase.
