The election of Vienna is the end of a series of urns. A lot seems to be decided in the capital and still decisive. Will Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig continue with the Neos, or Hans Peter Doskozil – and a coalition with the greens? Even a small size of the Sugar Coalition seems possible. One thing is certain: the voters then have a break.
If you look back on the last 13 months, you could almost think that voting is a kind of popular sport in Austria. The election was chosen in the employees and in the Chamber of Commerce, as well as in the state capital of Salzburg and Innsbruck and then also at European and national level. Since then, the state and community level (except Graz) has been chosen in Styria and Vorarlberg. In Lower Austria, “only” was voted alone in the communities, only in Burgenland at state level. On Sunday the series of elections in the federal capital Vienna will end.
