The devastating large fire in a shopping center in Warsaw is a year. Now the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is convinced: the Russians are behind it!
About 1400 stores and service facilities were destroyed at the Major Fire on May 12, 2024 in the Warschewinkel “Marywilska 44”. Nobody was injured. The investigation showed that the fire was eliminated in different places.
A year later the circumstances seem to be resolved. “We now know with certainty that the big fire in the Marywilska shopping center was caused by arson on behalf of the Russian secret services,” the politician wrote on the Platform X on Sunday.
Suspicious perpetrator arrested
Some alleged perpetrators have already been arrested. Other participants have been identified. You will be sought. “We’ll get it all!”, Tusk promised. In a joint statement by the Polish Minister of the Interior and the Justice, it was said that extensive knowledge about the course of the arson was gained. The suspects had documented part of their actions.
