Badajoz achieved a draw against Rayo Majadahonda (2-2)

The match held this Sunday in Cerro del Espino and between Majadahonda and Badajoz ended in a two-way tie between both contenders. Rayo Majadahonda entered the game with the goal of surpassing their points in the standings after losing the last match against Algeciras with a score of 2-1. As for the visiting team, Badajoz drew 1-1 against San Fernando, adding a point in the last game of the competition. With this score, the local team is in sixteenth position, while Badajoz is in ninth place at the end of the match.

The match started in an unprecedented way for Rayo Majadahonda, who opened the game with a goal from Rodriguez in the 11th minute. After that, the first half ended with a 1-0 result.

The second period started well for Badajoz, who leveled the tables with a goal from Jesús Alfaro in the 53rd minute. However, eleven majariego took a 2-1 lead thanks to Ofoli’s goal in the 55th minute. But the visiting team eventually reacted in the 75th minute and leveled the contest with a goal from Muller, which ended the game with a decisive score of 2-2.

During the game changes were made to both teams. The Majadahonda players who entered the match were Guille Donoso, Mario, Portero, Konaté and Pinillos to replace Nando García, Jeisson Martínez, Josu Ozkoidi, Rodriguez and Sergio Llamas, while those changed from Badajoz were Javi Ros, David Soto, Muller, Burlamaqui and Pérez Acuña, who came in to replace Raúl Palma, Adilson, Jesús Alfaro, Chendri and Jose Mas.

The referee handed out eight players with yellow cards, five for the locals and three for the visitors. On the part of the locals the card went to Nando García, Josu Ozkoidi, Ofoli, Salama and Casado and on the part of the visitors to Jose Mas, Chendri and Burlamaqui.

So far, Majadahonda is left with one point and Badajoz with five points.

The next day the team will play away against Córdoba, while Badajoz will face Algeciras at home.
