“It will be difficult in the direct main competition. If it is not possible, I hope there will be a wild card,” he said.

The player has not set an ATP ranking goal for 2023, but he does have a goal of being seeded at the French Open.

After Australia and Croatia, Thien plans to participate in tournaments in Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.
