Father left a letter – when looking for children: car with corpses discovered

Date:

There was great concern about two brothers and sisters in the northeast of the Netherlands: Feuverich was searched for the children Jeffrey (10) and Emma (8). The two children have been missing since Saturday – the police have now found a car with different corpses.

The vehicle was in the water Discovered Winschofen – about 15 kilometers from the German border. According to a police spokesperson, it is a car that looks like that of the missing father. The 67-year-old is said to have taken the children with him in a gray Toyota of Beerera and then disappeared without a track.

Father left a farewell letter
The authorities have feared the worst for days. A police spokesperson told the ANP press agency that it should be expected “that it can be Jeffrey and Emma”. The father had left a farewell letter that suggested that he wanted to do something and the children something. The parents lived separately, the children should only spend the weekend with the father.

Since Sunday there has been a big search: with dogs, boats, helicopters and special teams – even a notification telephone was activated in East Frisia, because stopping to Germany was not excluded.

Identification of the dead runs
Until now, the police have not been able to say how many corpses were found in the car. The car was carefully restored from the water. The family members may only be informed after identification of the dead.
