Sailing The Armada Trophy brings together 80 snipes in Santiago de la Ribera

The Mar Menor welcomes the most prominent national and international sailors from morning to Tuesday

The RCR of Santiago de la Ribera is preparing for a new appointment on the nautical calendar. From tomorrow to Tuesday, it will receive the emblematic and prestigious Spanish Navy trophy of the snipe class, which will reach its 43rd edition in 2022. A regatta framed in the national circuit of the Snipe class and in the X Almirante Marcial Sánchez Barcaiztegui Trophy, as well as in the XVII Azor Ambiental Trophy and the Paco Pérez Memorial.

It is a regatta that once again stands out due to the high participation. Eighty boats and 160 sailors to compete will be at the start and the schedule will include three days of competition and a maximum of six trials, two per day, subject to change.

The presence of Martín and Alejandro Fresneda from Almería, the current European champion Master Snipe, the Argentinian Agustín Zabalua (RCN de Valencia) stand out and form a tandem with his usual prole: Belén Olivas.

Joining them, with plenty of options, are Fabio Bruggioni (6th overall in the 2022 National Snipe) and Eduardo Molina (RCN Madrid); Martín Bermúdez de La Puente (RCN Madrid) and Ángela Pumariega (RC Astur de Regatas) have just won the Levante Snipe Grand Trophy in Valencia.
