The spectacular transformation of Dolphins stadium to host the Miami Open

Date:

Hard Rock Stadium is one of the most iconic and recognized stadiums in the United States. It is home to many sporting events, including home games of the Miami Dolphins football team and the University of Miami football team. It has also hosted major events such as the Super Bowl and the FIFA World Cup.

The stadium was built in 1987 and was originally named Joe Robbie Stadium after the first owner of the Miami Dolphins. Over the years, the stadium changed its name several times, and in 2016, it became Hard Rock Stadium after a sponsorship deal.

The stadium has a capacity for more than 65,000 spectators as well as many amenities for fans, including luxury suites, ‘hospitality’ areas and a wide variety of food and beverage options.

The stadium is also used for concerts and other live events, as well as other sporting events, as they happen. The Miami Open, the ATP Tour Masters 1000 tennis tournament, installed a tennis court on the stadium lawn for two months. For this they had to build new stands and adapt the facilities for the event that will take place between March 21 and April 2. A big change that can be seen in the amazing time lapse released by the organization of the tournament.
