A sum of 570 troops from the Mossos d’Esquadra will be distributed between next Friday and Sunday on the occasion of Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held at Montmelo circuit del Vallès (Barcelona), where on race day about 100,000 people are expected to attend.
As reported by the Mossos, the security operation will be directed from the Coordination Center (CECOR), located in the Montmeló Circuit.
In addition, the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT) and the Mossos have provided special measures to facilitate access and exit from the circuit to roads such as AP-7, C-35, C-17, BV -5003 and the BP- 5002, in a context of high mobility, while it is recommended to travel by public transport, reinforced.
