Good news about the state of health of Edwin Vander Sar. The former Dutch goalkeeper out of the ICU after suffering a brain hemorrhage earlier this month and will be released from the hospital next week.
The exporter, 52 years old, had to be hospitalized in an emergency from a brain hemorrhage while on vacation in Croatia. He recently improved enough to be transferred to the Netherlands and now he himself reports that he has left the intensive care unit.
“First of all, we want to thank everyone for all the great and supportive messages. I am happy to share that I am no longer in the intensive care unit.. However, I am still in the hospital. I look forward to going home next week and taking the next step in my recovery!” Van der Sar said on Twitter.
