The former president has announced that he has received a letter from special counsel Jack Smith saying he is under investigation. Trump has accused Smith of acting on behalf of the Attorney General and the latter on behalf of President Joe Biden.
The former president of the United States donald trump announced today that it had received a letter from the Special Prosecutor jack smith informing him that he is “under investigation” for the attack on the capital on January 6, 2021.
On his Truth Social network, Trump has written that Smith gives him four days to testify before the Grand Jury who must decide whether to charge. “And that almost always means arrest and prosecution,” adds the former president.
Trump has accused the special counsel of acting on behalf of the attorney general, Merrick Garlandand the last to do so by order of the President Joe Bidenhis “political rival number one”.
The former president, who said he received Smith’s message last Sunday night when he was with his family, has considered it part of the “Witch Hunt” of which he is subjected by the Democratic government. A “hunt” that Trump says is happening because he is the favorite to win the Republican primary.
