Schefflerwho finished second this Sunday at Olympia Fields in Illinois after Norwegian Viktor Hovland, continues to lead the overall table with an average of 11.74 points, ahead of Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy (10.98) and Rahm (9.61).
Despite his victory, Hovland remains fifth (7.21) behind fellow American Patrick Cantlay (7.35). in a classification where Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick advanced to eighth place (5.17) after beating Brian Harman (5.09) and Australian Cameron Smith (4.72).
The Tour Championship will bring together the top 30 of the FedExCup at the end of the campaign after risking BMW, a relationship that closed the Argentine Emiliano Grillo, the English Tyrrel Hatton, the American Jordan Spieth and the Austrian Sepp Straka.
rahmwho has won four tournaments this season and has been the leader since the beginning of the course, is now fourth behind Scheffler, Hovland and McIlroy. Pablo Larrazabal is in 67th place and Adrián Otaegui, fourth in the Northern Ireland tournament, has risen to 89th.
