Savo Milosevic, new Bosnian coach

Former Yugoslavian international Savo milosevic He is the new soccer coach of Bosnia HerzegovinaThe Balkan country’s football federation announced this Friday.

The 50-year-old coach started as a player for Partizan Serbian, and later played for English club Aston Villa and Spanish club Real Zaragoza, Espanyol, Osasuna and Celta, as well as the Italian Parma and the Russian Rubin Kazan. He played 102 games for the Yugoslav national team and was the best attacker at Euro 2000, with six goals.

As a coach, he led the Partizan of Belgrade, where he won the Serbian Cup in 2019, and the Slovenian Olimpija.

The former Bosnian coach, Meho Kodrohe led the team for only two games, during which the team almost lost the possibility of qualifying for Euro 2024.

The Bosnian team, playing in group J of the qualifying phase for the Euro Cup, will play on October 13 against Liechtenstein and three days later against Portugal.
