Norwegian Tobias Foss fulfilled his childhood dream and became a symbol for Ineos

He Norwegian Tobias Foss (Lillehammer, 26 years old), 2022 time trial world champion and from Jumbo Vismawas announced as the new signing of Ineos Grenadiers starting January 1, 2024.

Foss, a professional since 2020 and with 4 victories under his belt, has signed a three-year contract with Ineos, until the end of 2026.

In 2022, Foss achieved the biggest result of his career by taking the world time trial title in Wollongong, Australia. His record also includes a victory in the Touring the Future in 2019, 2 national time trial champion titles and road winner in 2021.


“When I was 14 and started cycling, Edvald Boasson Hagen and Team Sky They became my idol and became my favorite team. then, Chris Froome, Bradley Wiggins and Geraint Thomas inspired me as I dreamed about the Tour de France,” explained Foss.

Foss rode at the highest level for four seasons and established himself as one of the top talents in the professional peloton.

“I want to have a season where I can be consistent with the best. I don’t have specific goals, but I want to take advantage of my opportunity, contribute to the team to get good results and get a medal in Olympic Games“, said.

Foss will join a team featuring Tour de France champions such as Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernalwith some of the most exciting young talent in cycling today.

“I’m excited to compete alongside these riders and grow with my own experience. The future of Ineos Grenadiers It’s exciting, we have good mentors from whom we can learn, so that we young runners can maintain the culture and grow this team year after year,” he concluded.
