Mike Tyson has given an interview in recent days to ‘Ring Magazine’. In it he reflected on his successful sports career and told some details about which he did not say openly in previous appearances.
One of them was the choice of what he considered the best rival he had ever faced. Tyson chose the boxer he believed had the most quality from all measured during their professional career.
“Tony Tucker”, he chose without hesitation. “He had an excellent jab, he moved well and it was very difficult to hit him cleanly,” explained Tyson on his choice. “I have to make sure I hit him well so he doesn’t catch me later,” he said.
Tyson also chose another opponent when asked What conflict have you lived through the most? over the years. “Jose Ribaltawho was very hard with his punches,” Tyson said in the interview.
Finally, the legendary boxer chose an opponent he wanted to face. “I wish I could fight George Foreman, as there was much discussion among fans about who was better. “A fight would have finished her,” concluded Tyson.
