Stefanos Tsitsipas’ trial continues in 2024. The Greek still hasn’t found a good feeling this season and this Saturday he suffered another setback after falling in his debut at the Miami Open against Denis Shapovalov by a resounding 6-2, 6-4.
Tsitsipas added his name to the long list of seeds eliminated in these early days of the competition. The first of them was Andrey Rublevwho fell on Friday in doubles 6-4 against Czech Tomas Macchac, 60th in the ranking.

Well-known candidates advanced to this Masters 1,000 such as the Italian Jannik Sinner (n.3), the Russian Daniil Medvedev (n.4) or the German Alexander Zverev (n.5).
The day was also not quiet in the women’s category where they said goodbye this Saturday Aryna Sabalenka (2), Ons Jabeur (6), Qinweng Zheng (7), Jelena Ostapenko (9), Beatriz Haddad Maia (11), Elina Svitolina (15) and Anastasia Potapova (30).
