Valls-Figueres 2-1
Valls was able to pull back the score from Figueres’ first goal in a match where accuracy in areas and set pieces was crucial for the final result. The visiting team controls the match, combining and finding the wings to do damage. Moha Abouhafs scored the first and only goal of the afternoon for Figueres. The forward capitalized on the goalkeeper’s rebound with a shot into an empty and unopposed goal. Manel Cazorla’s team did not fall behind and the game was tied on the stroke of half-time. Gerard Batista headed, alone at the near post, to send the ball into the back of the net. As soon as they left the locker room, the set piece was the architect of the local comeback: Pol Fernández’s shot to the head caused Vilar’s euphoria. After the goal, Figueres went forward again against a fighting Valls who was trapped at the back. Despite dominating, the visitors had chances and lacked ideas on the offensive end.

Sants-Horta 0-1
Sants’ good fortune took a turn for the worse after Energia’s puncture against Horta. The team coached by Borja López came from a four-minute comeback against Figueres two weeks ago, but this time the black and white played their cards well. The first half was evenly split, with the visitors winning in terms of possession. Some arrivals from Sants took place thanks to Caresía sticking to the right wing. The second half started in a similar fashion, but everything went wrong around the hour mark, when a strange chance by Nogales turned into a great goal by Camacho’s team. The local coach stepped up the attack and tried two different formations to pierce León Rodríguez’s network, but nothing worked. The green and white defeat leaves them stuck in twelfth place in the table, thanks in part to defeats by their direct rivals. The team must hope to win again next Saturday in Palamós.

El Rubí took advantage of the Viladecans’ nervousness to beat them and make life difficult for them in relegation. The local team quickly dominated the scoreboard: Pau Albelda did well with a shot into the top corner to put the locals ahead. Akram then slapped his chaser and sent him away, changing the outcome of the match. At the end of the first act, Hervías’ head causes Rubí’s second. After the restart, with Viladecans reversing, Cintas finished off a cross to score the third goal. In a local monologue, the striker Muela was resolved within the small area, after a transfer. With ten minutes left in the game, Cencillo put the icing on the cake with a missile from the front, straight into the corner.
