“It’s been a roller coaster ride to get to this point. We are beyond excited to be parents! I couldn’t get through this without my amazing husband, Brian. He really keeps me going,” she said. Lloyd in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“We are so grateful for all the love and support we are receiving from our family and friends.
“My story is currently a happy one, but I know there are women who face challenges in their pregnancy journey. I see you and I understand your pain. I hope that more and more women will talk about this topic, because the their stories I’ve also helped with more resources, funding and education about fertility treatments and I have a lot to do to help!”
When Lloyd retired in 2021, he was asked why he decided to hang up his boots instead of following Tom Brady, who played until he was 45. “Well, Tom Brady doesn’t have to have kids, that’s the only thing to start with! My husband, Brian, and I will start a family, so the clock is ticking for that,” he noted afterwards.
