F1 announced the 2025 World Championship sprint races with something new

The Formula 1 officially announced the races that will be held in a sprint format during the 2025 F1 season, keeping the same number of events of this style in the next calendar, with 6 sprint weekends from a total of 24 tests that make up on the calendar.

This year (2024), the sprint races on the calendar are China, Miami, Austria and three others not yet held: Austin, Brazil and Qatar.


Regarding that sprint calendar, in 2025 there will be only one change: The Austrian GP will now be held in a normal weekend format and Its place in the sprint races will be taken by the Belgian F1 GPin Spa-Francorchamps.

F1 World Championship 2025 sprint race calendar:

  • Chinese GP (March 21-23)
  • Miami GP (May 2-4)
  • Belgian GP (July 25-27)
  • United States GP, in Austin (October 17 to 19)
  • Brazilian GP (November 7 to 9)
  • Qatar GP (November 28 to 30)
