Jesús Vallejo took to his social networks to deny that he is injured and that he will miss Real Madrid’s tour of the United States. Various media outlets reported this Saturday that the Aragonese center-back suffered a muscle injury that prevented him from being part of the white expedition to the American lands.
“This information is incorrect. I am not hurt and I am traveling on the US tour,” Jesús Vallejo wrote on his X account (formerly Twitter). The defender has been at Valdebebas since the start of preseason and in principle he has no intention of asking for another loan despite the fact that Ancelotti is not with him.
Vallejo is now Madrid’s fourth central defender after Militao, Rüdiger and Alaba. The Austrian is recovering from his serious knee injury and will not reappear until November. The other option Ancelotti has is to use Aurélien Tchouaméni as an emergency central defender.
